“Our stay at Hotel Luze was absolutely incredible. The property itself feels like a hidden retreat, with beautiful lush grounds that reminded us more of a countryside garden estate than a hotel. Between the greenery, peaceful atmosphere, infinity pool, and spa, it was the perfect place to unwind after busy days exploring the area. Our room was exceptional, with a stunning sea view and a jacuzzi that made it feel truly special. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated without ever feeling overly formal. A special thank you to Elvira, who made our stay even more memorable from the moment we arrived. She gave us such a warm welcome at check-in and somehow managed to secure us a last-minute reservation at Rekondo, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The only “downside,” if you can even call it that, is that the hotel isn’t directly in the city center. But honestly, we preferred that. It felt peaceful, exclusive, and relaxing, while still being just an easy 10-minute drive into town. Would absolutely stay here again.”

“We stayed at the Luze San Sebastian for two nights on our drive down from London to the south of Spain in mid March 26. We had our 6 month old cocker Spaniel puppy with us. What a gem !!! A wonderful small hotel and dog friendly. Don't be put off by the two stars, its a seriously 4 star+ boutique hotel in a great location. We stayed in one of the rooms in the small annex with a gated patio .. perfect for Elsie the dog. Excellent room and facilities. EV chargers in the car park. Staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful (even helped us organise a vet for vaccinations on the return trip in April). We obviously will be staying again and will use on future trips to Spain. Highly recommended .. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“Amazing hotel. Rooms were clean, staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. Their restaurant just earned a Michelin Star recently so the food is really good. Enjoyed the spa as well. They have a sauna, steam room, indoor pool, hot tub, and gym. The spa is 30 euros per person to use.”

“A beautiful hotel with excellent dining and fabulous staff. What a little gem…you turn the corner and surprise! Awesome gardens and gorgeous architecture. The hotel is traditional with a modern feel. The spa is fantastic. All of the staff are super friendly and can’t do enough. We ate in the bistro and dinner was excellent. Breakfast was good too. We are returning at the end of our trip to stay again and eat in the Michelin restaurant with friends. They made our dog feel really welcome and fussed over her and she was delighted with the biscuits in the room for her! This could be a new favourite of ours.”

“A fabulous hotel with an amazing restaurant. Eating at Itzuli was truly an amazing experience. The food, the service, the wine, all of it was exceptional. What a fine meal. The hotel itself is also a beautiful quiet place for our romantic week in San Sebastián. The hotel is just outside of town, but transportation into town and back is very simple being walkable or an easy bus or taxi ride away.”

“Perfect “little” gem! The hotel’s architecture is amazing, the gardens are beautiful not to forget about the rooms. The rooms are fully decorated, the bed is fantastic and the view from our room is just stunning. I have just started to be honest, the infinity pool gives you amazing views and time to relax, the spa is well equipped for a hotel spa and gives you time to unwind. Please don’t book without breakfast, you will thank me later. Last but not least, the hotel accommodates a Michelin star restaurant. Don’t hesitate and just go! Almost forgot to mention the staff, super friendly and helpful. Gave us an upgrade and a super early check in”
